IEEE President to Address Transform Africa Summit

2017 IEEE President & CEO Karen Bartleson will address African government, industry and academic leaders on the subject of digital transformation within Africa at the Transform Africa Summit, set for 10-12 May 2017 in Kigali, Rwanda.

She is also slated to deliver a plenary speech at the affiliated Smart Africa Women’s Summit, where she will address the need to engage young women in STEM and discuss IEEE’s efforts to build engineering capacity in Africa and promote the next generation of female technologists and engineers.
