IEEE’s European Public Policy Initiative On Advancing Sustainable Smart Cities

In a new position statement, the IEEE European Public Policy Initiative (EPPI) offers its thoughts on how Europe can plan new and adapt established cities and larger urban areas into smarter, sustainable environments, and welcomes European Commission (EC) initiatives encouraging the development of smart cities, such as the European Innovation Partnership on Smart Cities and Communities.
