Engineering Convocation Livestream Looks at Cybersecurity and Grid Resiliency

 

The U.S. National Academy of Engineering’s 2018 Convocation of Professional Engineering Societies, held in concert with the American Association of Engineering Societies, is being webcast on Monday, April 23.  The Convocation features panels of experts including many IEEE notables, addressing  “Cybersecurity – Challenges for the Engineering Profession and Society”, and “Enhancing the Resilience of the Nation’s Electricity System”.  The program kicks off with an introduction by NAE President Dan Mote at 8:15 a.m.  The Cybersecurity panel runs from 8:45 a.m.-12:00 noon.  The Grid Resiliency session runs from 1:30-4:45 p.m.
