Part of the GPC’s mission is to help IEEE members across the globe interact effectively and ethically with their local governments. While societies and political systems vary widely across the globe, the following materials offer practical advice on working with most governments. The GPC can help IEEE members navigate the unique culture and legal systems of their country before communicating with government officials.

Submit Your Policy

IEEE members may submit position statements for consideration by the GPC. Position statements should be germane to IEEE’s mission and purpose, should concisely state their policy recommendations, and apply to a specific jurisdiction. The GPC will review and consider submitted position statements, but only approve those that have broad support across IEEE’s membership.

Note: You must have a valid IEEE Member login in order to submit a Policy Position.
